Turin: still searches and seizures of the state police against the far right area

In the morning today, staff of the Digos of the Turin Police Headquarters, as part of a more complex investigation into the associations of the extreme right-wing Piedmontese extremist, carried out 11 searches delegated by the local Judicial Authority at homes and places available to militants of Forza Nuova and of the association "Legio Subalpina" of Turin and of the association "Rebel Firm" of Ivrea.

The investigation activity for the crime of apologia for fascism - which arose following the display on May 22, in this Unity of Italy course, of a banner bearing the words "BREAK THE WEAR CHAINS VOTE FASCIST VOTE FORCE NEW "(Followed by the symbol of the fasces), whose photo depicting the criminal action had also been posted on the Facebook profile of Forza Nuova Torino - found further evidentiary implications and investigative ideas after the discovery, last June 20, during similar searches, of different material from the area in praise of fascism and Nazism, as well as the seizure at the headquarters of Forza Nuova of baseball bats and 25 plexiglass shields with far-right symbols.

The investigative activity was then also extended to the "Rebel Firm" association in Genoa (contiguous to Forza Nuova) and to the Skin area association, "Legio Subalpia" (which emerged in this capital already in December 2015, whose new headquarters was officially inaugurated last March 2 with the participation of area militants from other territorial contexts) included in a broader project of the national far right called "FEDErAZIONE", which aims to combine and strengthen the various realities of the extra-parliamentary right present on the Italian territory.

During the searches, material in praise of fascism and Nazism was found and seized (paintings, posters, books, flags, objects, memorabilia, clothing, etc.) as well as various knives, snap blades, brass knuckles, a machete, bullets , telescopic batons, Nazi helmets, toy guns without red cap and several rifles and pistols for soft air.

Material was also found (clothes, stickers, banners, helmets) attributable to the Juventus ultra groups (with particular reference to the far-right association “Drughi Giovinezza” and the “Tradizione Antichi Valori” group) as well as praising violence.

From the type of material seized, it was possible to find some links with homologous extremist formations, such as "Identity Generation" and the Anglo-Saxon movement "Combat 18 (Adolf Hitler's Combatants)".
