A 61-year-old man in imminent danger of life due to a serious pathology was transported urgently today from Cagliari to Bologna aboard a Falcon 900 of the 31 ° Stormo dell'Aeronautica Militare, for subsequent hospitalization at the “Sant'Orsola - Malpighi” Polyclinic.

The Falcon 900, one of the Air Force aircraft ready round the clock for urgent medical transport, took off in the morning from Ciampino airport, headquarters of the 31 ° Stormo, after receiving the mission order from the Hall Top Situations of the Air Squad Command.

After landing in Cagliari, the patient was boarded on the aircraft together with a medical team who constantly assisted him during the flight.

Taking off at about 12:50 from the Sardinian capital, the plane landed after an hour's flight to Bologna.
