Nadal's triumph at US Open

Vince Rafa Nadal, as it was almost taken for granted. Wins against the South African Kevin Anderson arrived at his first final in a Grand Slam, with merit, even if "passing" from that part of the board much easier and practically orphan of top 10. More and more number 1 of the ATP ranking therefore the Spaniard who on the cement of Flushing Meadows, wins his 3rd US Open and 16th Slam, approaching His Majesty Roger Federer who won 19 Slams and with whom unfortunately a dream semifinal was missed, thanks to the Argentine Del Potro, which would have represented TENNIS. As happened for the women's final won by Sloane Stephens with the minimum of playable sets, which for women are two, this final also ends without any “extra” with a dry 6-3, 6-3, 6-4. So much the difference between the two tennis players that we remember that they faced each other from n.1 and n.28 of the ATP ranking. A difference not only technical, but also of experience, accumulated in two objectively different careers. Suffice it to say that, while the Johannesburg giant had hardly played any, Nadal was in his 23rd final of which only 3 faced this year. It takes the Spaniard 2 hours and 27 minutes to get the better of Anderson, who reached this final mainly thanks to his service, practically lethal, against all
opponents faced (even our best ranked Lorenzi at the tournament knows something about it). On this occasion, however, not for his demerit but for the superhuman abilities of the Majorcan, he proves to be almost ineffective and at this point the epilogue of the match could not be different.
Thus ends the last Grand Slam of the year, actually not too spectacular as often happened recently at the US Open, where in general the protagonists arrive exhausted from a demanding season. It ends with two finals played at the minimum of allowed sets. Almost embarrassing and without history the female one won by Sloane Stephens against compatriot and best friend Madison Keys, from the script the men's final where the surprise of the Tournament Kevin Anderson tries to engage Nadal in the first set, and then surrender as it was obvious that he was at overwhelming power of a tennis player objectively from another planet.
