The head of the US State Department, Antony blinken spoke of "very worrying signs of an escalation in Russia, with the arrival of new troops on the border with Ukraine". The Russian counterpart Serghei Lavrov accused the West of having "Ignored" Moscow's demands on security, but also confirmed that Russia has no plans to invade Ukraine".
The French president Emmauel Macron after having today another long conversation with Putin, he reported having had a sincere dialogue and not compatible with an escalation.
Macron, president of the EU, does not abandon his commitment to the game and to take stock, he has heard in these hours with Biden, the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and the Ukrainian premier Volodymyr Zelensky. On the other hand, the Italian diplomatic silence is deafening.
Italy has only communicated to the two thousand residents in Ukraine to leave the country, thus adding to the appeals made to the citizens of Germany, Holland, Spain, Sweden and Denmark
