A new NATO with 300 thousand men always ready and the secret pact of the CIA with Russia and Ukraine

(To Massimiliano D'Elia) On 11 and 12 July in Vilnius the 31 NATO countries will meet to try to relaunch the role of the Alliance, following the Russo-Ukrainian war. It is evident to all that by now the founding principles of the Atlantic Pact are no longer current because the threats do not come only from the East but also from the South and above all from that constituting multipolarity which requires new strategies and above all a real unity of purpose at the level of the Alliance , leaving aside the sterile and unproductive nationalisms typical of the Old Continent. It is necessary to review objectives and strategic plans and make the military component truly interoperable and ready, with short notice, for any eventuality, even employing a large number of men. The hope is that Vilnius will talk about Ukraine, Georgia and Sweden as the next countries to join NATO. On Ukraine, it is clear to everyone that any entry into the Alliance is subject to the end of the war. In the meantime, Kiev's armaments are being adapted to NATO standards. In Vilnius the allies will reiterate to Erdogan the need to withdraw the Turkish veto against Sweden's accession to NATO.

The general secretary Stoltenberg thought about it yesterday at the press conference: “In Vilnius I expect all leaders to reaffirm that Ukraine will become a member of NATO. I expect Allied leaders to agree on a three-piece package to bring theUkraine closer to NATO".

The member countries will actually discuss 3 new plans for the defense of the Alliance, with the involvement of 300 soldiers.

Of the plans Stoltenberg said: “We will also take other big steps to strengthen our defense and deterrence, with three new regional defense plans, to counter the two biggest threats to our Alliance, Russia and terrorism. We will have a plan for the North, the Atlantic and the Arctic, a plan for the Centre, which will cover Central Europe and the Baltic, and another for the Mediterranean and the Black Sea. To execute these plans we will put 300 thousand soldiers in a readiness staff, including substantial air and naval combat forces.”

On Ukraine, the Secretary General: “First of all, we will agree on a multi-year assistance program to ensure full interoperability between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and NATO. Furthermore, we will strengthen our political ties by creating the NATO-Ukraine Council and, thirdly, I expect all leaders will reaffirm that Ukraine will become a member of NATO".

"The allies – continues Stoltenberg – they promised 500 million euros for basic needs, such as fuel, medical supplies, demining equipment,” he continues, explaining that the allies “they will help build the security and defense sector, including with military hospitals. We will help Ukraine make the transition from Soviet-era standards and means to those of NATO. President Volodymyr Zelensky will join us for the inaugural meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council, which will be a platform for consultations and decisions in crises. We will all sit as equals to address common security concerns.", he says again. NATO will decide at the Vilnius summit to set up a NATO-Ukraine Council, which will help "the 31 allies, I hope 32 soon, and Kiev" to decide "together", as "equals", what to do, and "the first meeting will be held next week" in the Lithuanian capital, explains the secretary general.

News on the field

The United States, meanwhile, has decided to send the much-disputed cluster bombs to Ukraine, which are famously banned in more than 100 countries.

In these hours it is also decided to unblock the agreement on wheat which allows the precious wheat to cross via the Black Sea.

The role of the CIA

The American newspapers speak of an unwritten pact to prevent the Kremlin from provoking an escalation by resorting to atomic bombs. “There is a clandestine war, with clandestine rules, at the basis of what is happening in Ukrainea Biden administration official explained to Arkin. “The CIA is on the ground, but that's not a bad thing at all“. In Ukraine, according to Arkin, there would never be more than a hundred men. Aid, on the other hand, follows two channels, one public and one clandestine. The first is based on the ports of Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and Poland, from where supplies then arrive in Ukraine by trucks, trains and planes; the clandestine one is entrusted to commercial aircraft and moves weapons in central and eastern Europe supporting the CIA.

The US-Russia and US-Ukraine pact: the Americans will not fight on the ground while the Russians will not attack other countries, respecting the red lines on the use of nuclear weapons. Even the Ukrainians, after the invasion, entered into an unwritten agreement with Washington, accepting the limits imposed by Biden on direct attacks on Russia in exchange for weapons and intelligence.
