American President Donald Trump, at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, will be engaged on a state visit to China from November 8 to 10. This was announced by the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lu Kang, who, in a statement stated: "The two heads of state will have a profound exchange of views on the main global and regional issues of common concern".
China, the spokesman concludes, is ready to "work with the US to achieve important results for Trump's visit and for the Xi-TRUMP meeting, with the aim of injecting new and strong impetus into the development of bilateral relations".
