Vår Energi has been awarded 10 new exploration licenses in Norway, 5 of which as operator

Eni through Vår Energi, jointly controlled by Eni (69.85%) and HitecVision (30.15%), will participate in a total of 10 new exploration licenses as a result of the tender process called "2021 Awards in Predefined Areas" (APA) managed by the Ministry Norwegian Oil and Energy (MPE).

Vår Energi was awarded 5 licenses as an Operator and 5 licenses as a partner. The licenses are distributed across all three major mining basins of the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS): North Sea: PL 1043b (op), PL 1139; Norwegian Sea: PL 1154 (op), PL 586B, PL 091F, PL 1163; Barents Sea: PL 1168 (op), PL 229H (op), PL 1025SB (op), PL 1169.

The results of the APA 2021 strengthen Vår Energi's position as one of the leading energy companies in Norway. The new exploration licenses are located both in areas around the production centers and in areas with high exploration potential, in possible future key areas for Vår Energi. The licenses awarded confirm Vår Energi's strategy and commitment to exploration of the Norwegian continental shelf, which forms a key part of the company's future organic growth.

Vår Energi holds over 148 licenses in Norway, 36 are fields in production. Vår Energi's current production is around 250.000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
