Venezuela in chaos, Maduro thunders the European Union

Juan Guaidò, leader of the Venezuelan opposition, in a video posted on Twitter, launched an appeal to the Venezuelan population asking them to take to the streets, next Wednesday and Saturday, to demonstrate against President Nicolas Maduro.

Guaidò, explained that the first national demonstration, which will take place Wednesday from noon to 14 pm (from 17 pm to 19 pm in Italy), will aim to ask for the support of the armed forces for peaceful protests: "Soldiers of Venezuela, do not repress peaceful protests. You have a clear responsibility right now, ”said Venezuelan self-proclaimed president Juan Guaidó, admonishing that“ the armed forces have been mobilized to create fear ”. "We know that you must keep order, but you must understand that we are respecting the constitution," he added, warning that amnesty will be granted to those who take the side of the constitution, but not to those who kill "innocents".

The second appointment, on the other hand, scheduled for next Saturday, foresees a great national march in support of the EU ultimatum that asks for new elections immediately or will recognize the opponent, Juan Guaidó, as the new president.

Ultimatum criticized and strongly rejected by Nicolas Maduro, who, in an interview with CNN Turk, reported by the international media, declared “They behave with arrogance. Nobody can give us an ultimatum. If they want to leave Venezuela, they leave. Venezuela is not connected to Europe. This is arrogance, the European elites do not reflect the opinion of the European peoples ”.
