Versalis, Eni's chemical company, announces that it has today completed the closing for the acquisition of 100% of the company Tecnofilm SpA., a company specialized in the compounding sector, after having obtained authorization from the competent authorities.
Tecnofilm is a family company based in the Marche region, active in the production of functionalized polyolefins and thermoplastic compounds based on plastic materials and elastomers, intended in particular for the footwear industry and the production of technical articles. Founded in 1972, Tecnofilm subsequently began to diversify its product portfolio, offering a wider range of compounds and functional polymers for different industrial uses and technical items. Thanks to constant investments in research and development and equipment, Tecnofilm has developed and registered several patents and in 2015 was recognized as an "Innovative SME" in the special section of the Business Register. In November 2016 Tecnofilm also became a member of ELITE, an international platform created by the Italian Stock Exchange to support the growth of companies with excellence.
