If the sun returns to shine on the Pacific, then the "night" should fall on the Mediterranean.
In this new context, and in the absence of projects in a society characterized by this "neo-medieval egoism":
- the Mediterranean peoples should remain outside the paths of the movements of economic flows and, therefore, from the possibility of real development;
- the African peoples would continue, in their third world status, to serve as a human reservoir for the most wicked trades (nursery for terrorism, organ trade, arms market);
- Europe would have a new role, that of a museum of the world, without a precise identity, devoid of a current capacity for proposal and of any impact.
History, however, is not so simple to interpret and above all to "manage". Its continuous flow often overwhelms structures in construction.
The wait is great: the curtain is rising and the new roles have not yet been assigned. Because in the new scene everyone is free to choose their own. But he has to do it quickly.
The new act has already begun.
