35 arrested, 177 suspects and 37.000 identified: this is the balance sheet of controls in the last week of the Railway Police. 3.788 the patrols engaged at the station and 998 on board the train, for a total of 2.093 escorted trains. 251 anti-drafting services and 183 high penalties. 27 unaccompanied minors found and entrusted to families or communities; 52 foreign citizens caught in an irregular position.

Controls intensified also thanks to the “High Impact” operation, which saw the use of 355 Railway Police operators in the 15 most important stations of the national territory.

From Lombardy to Veneto. The Agents of the Polfer Compartment for Lombardy and the Posto Polfer of Lodi, inside a grove near the railway station, arrested a Moroccan citizen of 35 years for drug dealing. Furthermore, the Polfer operators searched the drug dealer's apartment where other drugs and money were found.

Also in Milan, the Railway Police arrested a Moroccan from 19 years, an irregular on the national territory and a recipient of the ban on staying in the Municipality of Milan, for theft and reported in a state of freedom because he found himself in possession of a smartphone, stolen result and a breaker hammer, apt to offend. Unsuspected by this attitude, the Polfer Agents stopped him and accompanied him to the police offices where subsequent investigations made it possible to find that the man had hidden among his clothes 10 eggs containing drugs, revealed to be cocaine, for a weight of over a pound.

From Lazio to Puglia. The Polfer Agents, at the Roma Termini station, noticed two men without luggage, hastily moving away, from a high-speed train. They followed them to a "buy gold" store near the station, where the two handed over a large quantity of items to the shopkeeper. The Agents then entered the business asking for explanations to the manager who showed what had just been delivered, gold jewelery for a total value of around 8.500 euros. During

control, one of them was found in possession of 495 euro in 5 notes. The two were reported for receiving stolen items in the contest and all the objects and money seized.

In Naples, eight criminals were arrested by the Polfer, who constituted a band of organized and serial pickpockets against Italian and foreign travelers, arriving or departing at the Circumvesuviana station in Piazza Garibaldi. Two of them, in the role of "directors", were arrested on charges of criminal association for the purpose of committing more crimes of aggravated theft and being sent to prison, while the other 6 were placed under house arrest.

Finally, in Foggia, a Bulgarian citizen of 22 years was arrested by the Railway Police, homeless, for threats aggravated by the use of the knife, damage, abusive port of arms and false generalities. The man, of robust build, with bare back, with a big knife threatened the passers-by inside the railway station. At the sight of the policemen, with a lightning move he escaped inside the bar of the railway yard, throwing the knife into a waste container. The Agents managed to approach and block it. A rusty nail of the length of 15 cm was found inside the backpack. The foreigner had already been arrested for aggravated theft and robbery and resistance to a Public Official.

Among the events of the week in Ancona, the last 2019 stage of GiocoVolley S3 took place in safety, the initiative organized as part of the educational campaign conceived by the Railway Police, the National Agency for Railway Safety and the Italian Federation Volleyball. The event organized in the Pala Rossini saw the participation of around 3.000 elementary and middle school boys from all the Marche. The Polfer operators with the “Train… to be cool” project, spread the message of education to legality in a playful way, transmitting to young athletes the minimum contents of railway safety through videos, games and quizzes.
