She died in London, at the age of 46 years Dolores O'Riordan, frontwoman of the Irish rock band "The Cranberries".
The singer was in the English capital with her band for the recording of their new album.
The causes of the death that would have happened in a very sudden way are not yet known, but the news has struck over the family members, even its many fans who have clogged the music and social sites to give their last goodbye to Dolores.
The news was disclosed by his agent through a brief note:
"The singer of the Irish band The Cranberries was in London for a short recording session. No further details are currently available. The family members are destroyed by having learned the news and asked to respect their privacy at this very difficult time ".
The singer, who has lived in Canada since 2007, leaves three children, Taylor, Molly and Dakota, aged 20, 16 and 12, with ex-husband Don Burton, Manager of Duran Duran, with whom the woman had divorced in 2014, after 20 years of marriage.
In the 2017 the group had interrupted the tour, which also included five concerts in Italy, due to some health problems of Dolores.
The song that probably best represents the group and consequently its leader is "Zombie", a piece certainly worthy of the "soundtrack" of the 90s, contained within the album "No Need To Argue" released in 1994 and winner of numerous awards including the prestigious MTV Awards in 1995.
