ANAS: the call for tenders for traffic flow detection on the network has been published

The value of the tender notice that Anas (FS Group Italiane) has published in the Official Gazette of today, Wednesday 10 May 30, concerning the supply and installation of equipment for traffic detection. The contract also includes ordinary and extraordinary maintenance, technical assistance and staff training.

The four-year contract provides for the framework agreement procedure and covers all the arteries managed by Anas throughout the country.

Anas thus continues its strategy of upgrading traffic detection systems to improve the quality of the service offered. Starting from infomobility, for greater transparency and completeness of news that allows users to increasingly make use of “smart” mobility.

Furthermore, the traffic study generally provides valuable information for planning maintenance and upgrading the network.

To ensure the best coordination in the collection, coding and optimization of the usability of traffic data, Anas in the 2015 created the Traffic Observatory which, through a specialized team of engineers and traffic analysts, oversees the creation and dissemination of bulletins monthly data on traffic flows and statistics on the road network of national interest.

The monthly traffic index is also useful, alongside other statistical measurement tools, as an economic indicator of the country.

Applications must be sent electronically, under penalty of exclusion, within 12.00 13 / 07 / 2018 hours via the Anas Purchasing Portal https://acquisti.stradeanas.it.

The selection criterion is that of the most economically advantageous offer; in the evaluation 30 points were attributed to the price and 70 to the quality.
