First mission for the ABI and Italian banks in the Czech Republic to assist and support companies, especially small and medium-sized ones, that want to deepen the business opportunities offered by the Czech market, not only in commercial terms but also in industrial partnerships and investments. Suffice it to say that in the 2018 the Czech Republic confirmed the stability of the main indicators.
It is the President of the ABI Internationalization Committee, Guido Rosa, who reaffirms the support of the Italian banking sector for the internationalization of the economy, as part of the mission led by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Manlio Di Stefano is organized on the occasion of the Italian-Czech intergovernmental summit with the aim of exploring the new economic and commercial opportunities deriving from the adoption by the Czech government of the Innovation Strategy of the Czech Republic 2019-2030 program.
The mission is attended by a delegation of 4 of the main banking groups operating in Italy that represent around 56% of the entire Italian banking sector in terms of total assets: Banca Intesa Sanpaolo, BNL-BNP Paribas, ICCREA Banca and UniCredit.
"This afternoon - said Rosa - the Italian banking delegation will meet the Czech Central Bank and the main local banks, led by their Association, with the aim of taking stock of the state of interbank relations, jointly examining how to improve collaboration already in be and strengthen the support offered to Italian companies, both from Italy and directly in the Czech Republic. "
The entrepreneurs operating in the Czech Republic can avail themselves of the assistance of important reference partners. In particular, two of the major Italian groups have for years been present in the Czech Republic through important local banks that they own. Furthermore, Italian entrepreneurs can also count on the support provided by an Italian bank through the foreign parent company, present in the area with a branch and a representative office.
