Abi. Circular circulation on loans guaranteed by the SME Guarantee Fund

The ABI has issued a new circular to banks on loans guaranteed by the SME Guarantee Fund. With reference to 100% guaranteed loans, the ABI reports that, following the authorization granted by the European Commission, starting today 19 November 2020, the type of subjects that can request the guarantee of the Fund has been expanded. In particular, guarantee applications can now also be submitted by those exercising activities referred to in section K of the ATECO code - such as, for example, the auxiliary activities of financial services and insurance activities and those carried out by financial advisors - and non-commercial entities , including third sector entities and civilly recognized religious entities.

An updated version of Annex 4-bis for the guarantee request has been published in the “Forms” section of the Guarantee Fund website. The updated Operating Guide is also available on the Fund's website.
