Air Force. HOPE-Lucca comics 2022

It will be presented "One hundred years of Aeronautica Militare in comics", 12 graphic novels that talk about the Armed Force made by young authors and cartoonists. The comic series will be presented on October 30 at Lucca Comics & Games and is one of the numerous initiatives that the Air Force has organized to celebrate the now upcoming XNUMXth anniversary of its foundation.

The comic series "Centenario Aeronautica Militare", created by the Historical Office of the Air Force to pay homage to the aviators of yesterday and today in view of the centenary of the Armed Force, will be presented on Sunday 30 October 2022 at "HOPE - Lucca Comics & Games 2022". The presentation, which will take place at Si6 of the Banca del Monte di Lucca Foundation Auditorium from 15.00 to 16.00, will be attended by the Deputy Head of the 5th Communication Department of the General Staff AM, Colonel Rosario D'Auria, the artistic director of the series, Francis Archideacon, the authors Paul Nurcis e Vincenzo Grienti, and the cartoonist and author Marco Trecalli.

This editorial project is part of the context of the numerous initiatives that the Air Force is organizing in favor of citizens to spread the aeronautical culture on the territory and bring especially the youngest to the values ​​and traditions that have characterized the history of the Armed Force, which is intimately connected. with the events of the country. Precisely with this in mind the idea of ​​a series of comic stories was born, put on paper thanks to the skill of young screenwriters, designers, colorists, cover artists and the coordination of the artistic director.

Of the 12 titles in the series, three volumes have already been published: "El Alamein","Flying for life"Ed"The return of the heroes“, Which tell the Armed Force from different historical perspectives. During the exhibition, advances will also be provided on the next three volumes of the collection: "Incursori","Firestorm"and "Fulco!".
