A 50 Falcon from Ciampino's 31 ° Stormo transported the man into imminent danger of life from Pescara to Milan

A Falcon 50 aircraft from Ciampino's 31 ° Stormo carried out an urgent medical transport from Pescara to Milan in favor of a man of 45 years in imminent danger of life awaiting lung transplantation.

The crew of the aircraft, in readiness for alarm, took off from Ciampino airport and then landed in Pescara. From here, once the patient had boarded, the Falcon took off from the Abruzzo airport at about 21 pm for Milan Malpensa, where it landed about an hour later. The man was immediately disembarked and transferred by ambulance to the “San Matteo” Polyclinic in Padua to receive the necessary specialist care.

Emergency medical transport and search and rescue operations are among the main tasks that the Air Force performs daily in favor of the community, allowing to save lives and offering a precious and fundamental contribution in case of urgency.
