The made in Italy high school is underway: online registration on UNICA from 23 January

The Circular containing the operational indications to allow enrollment in the first classes of the new Made in Italy high school path, approved by Parliament on 20 December, for the 2024-2025 school year, has been published and sent to the educational institutions and the Regions. . The new school address can be chosen by families on the UNICA platform starting from 23 January 2024.   

“The establishment of this high school is a qualifying part of the path of valorisation, promotion and protection of Italian excellence: it will provide students with the opportunity to delve into the historical, geographical, artistic and cultural scenarios of the industrial development and productive fabric of our country, but also to project oneself into the future with a solid basic education especially in the economic, legal and technological fields: this virtuous mix is ​​part of the great reform of upper secondary school, which aims to bring education closer to the world of national entrepreneurship and therefore of work, reducing the gap between the skills required by the productive sectors and those provided by schools", declared the Minister of Education and Merit Giuseppe Valditara. 

“Finally the Made in Italy High School for the country of global excellence which is based on the creative art of Italian work”, commented the Minister of Business and Made in Italy Adolfo Urso, “our country is thus providing itself with a innovative scholastic path, which combines tradition and innovation, closely connected to the entrepreneurial world, to train talents and the future drivers of our economy, who will be called to make the most of the quality that characterizes our Made in Italy. The mission of the high school will be to provide a complete preparation, embracing both humanistic disciplines and STEM subjects with the aim of supporting and promoting Italian excellence, creativity and entrepreneurship that have always positioned our country at the top of the global scene . The “Businesses and Skills for Made in Italy” Foundation, foreseen by the Made in Italy bill together with the high school, will act as the essential bridge between the scholastic and entrepreneurial worlds, facilitating access to work for young people ready to face global challenges with competence and vision. We are certain that the Made in Italy High School will be a bulwark for sustainable growth and the valorization of Italian talent on an international scale".
