Alexei Navalny, Russian opposition leader, leaves prison but is immediately arrested

After serving the sentence to 30 days of administrative detention, for organizing unauthorized protests last January, Nalvalny, leader of the Russian opposition, just got out of prison and immediately arrested and got into a police car.

The news was made known by his spokesperson by posting a message on Twitter explaining that Nalvalny, who was probably accused of once again violating the laws on mass demonstrations, was taken to a police station in central Moscow.

News also confirmed by his right-hand man, Leonid Volkov who declared "Alexei Navalny was taken to the Danilovsky police station and must respond to new violations of the fourth paragraph of the article 20.2 of the Russian administrative code". According to Volkov, the new provision would be linked to the September 9 protests, when Navalny was in prison. This part of the 20.2 article of the Russian Code of Administrative Offenses, emphasized Volkov, was not applied to Navalny before and could be used as a reason for opening criminal proceedings.
