Even the US assumes responsibility for Moscow behind the death of Skripal

As supposed by Britain, the United States also speculates that it is "very probable" that behind the poisoning of former spy Sergei Skripal there is Russia.

Rex Tillerson, US Secretary of State, has “Russia behind it the poisoning of former spy Sergei Skripal and threatens "serious consequences". In a note, US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson reiterated with conviction that "There is never a justification for this type of attack, the attempted murder of a private citizen on the territory of a sovereign nation, and we are outraged that Russia appears involved once again in a behavior of this type ”.

Tillerson announced that he had spoken with British Foreign Minister Boris Jonhson, and had offered "solidarity" with the United States ensuring full cooperation and promising close coordination to give a joint response to Moscow.

The US Secretary of State concluded by saying: "We agree that those responsible, those who committed the crime and those who ordered it, will have to face the appropriate, serious consequences."

The statements by the Secretary of State came a few hours after British Prime Minister Theresa May's speech in Parliament on the Skripal case, during which she argued that it is "highly probable" that Russia is behind the poisoning of the former spy and of his daughter Yulia, which took place last week in the city of Salisbury.
