Multilingual Juma portal for refugees in Italy by ARCI and UNHCR

Arci and Unhcr announce Juma Refugees Map Services, a portal with the indication of the services offered to refugees and asylum seekers throughout the national territory. On Thursday at 11,30 at the Fnsi headquarters (Corso Vittorio Emanuele 349), the 2017 data of the toll-free number managed by the ARCI will be illustrated with in-depth analysis on the problems determined by the application of the Dublin Regulation, the Italy / Tunisia Philippines case and access to the asylum procedure.
Juma- Refugees Map Services has the ambition to put in communication all the actors of the asylum system, first of all asylum seekers, holders of international protection and those entitled to humanitarian protection through the multilingual option currently active in Italian, English, French, Arabic and Chinese (versions in Farsi, Tigrinya, Amharic and Somali are also foreseen). The portal allows you to view the data and characteristics of the services offered by all associations on an OpenStreet map, correlating them with mobile navigation for calculating the route. Refugees Map Services wants to become a tool for public and common use through which: to find the closest dedicated service to those in need (where to sleep, where to find legal assistance, where to find health care, where to find psycho-social assistance, where to find a language school); make known their service and their work (all subjects, public and private, who are not yet mapped can send their registration form); update their references in real time (all mapped subjects will have credentials to modify and update the descriptions of their services); enhance existing services and put them online.
