Arrested to London 4 men for climbing on the balcony of the Iranian embassy

Four men were arrested after climbing onto the balcony of the Iranian embassy in London. The police immediately intervened in the elegant district of Knightsbridge, where the diplomatic representation is based, arresting the four individuals who were taken to a London police station within two hours.

Abbas Araghchi, Deputy Foreign Minister, "expressed Iran's strong protest to the British ambassador in Tehran and asked the police for absolute protection for Iranian diplomats in London".

According to a news agency, the four have replaced the Iranian flag with a religious banner. In 1980, gunmen held around 30 people hostage at the Iranian embassy in London for six days, demanding the release of some political prisoners in Iran for their release. Five commando members were killed after the British police raid.
