ISMEA 2019 call, Hundred: 'giving opportunities to young people increases the value of our land'

"Guaranteeing a professional opportunity for our young people is fundamental to give value to our land. Looking to the future by focusing on innovation and generational turnover, through specific measures and subsidized mortgages, encouraging the development of Italian agriculture and food farming must be a priority ”.

The Minister of Agricultural, Food, Forestry and Tourism Policies Gian Marco Centinaio comments on the 2019 call for proposals published today in the Official Gazette, the Ismea instrument, which provides for a financial allocation of 70 million euros for access to land by young people who intend to become agricultural entrepreneurs.

The initiative is aimed at young people aged between 18 and 41 years old, who are setting up in agriculture for the first time and who will be able to benefit from low-interest loans to buy a farm.
