Pedophile arrested red-handed by the State Police, to frame him an undercover agent. He lured his victims on Instagram and demanded paid sexual services
Last Saturday, in Cagliari, the State Police illegally arrested a 42-year-old worker from Quartu Sant'Elena (CA), with a clean record, who elevated a 12-year-old from Cagliari on Instagram eleven days ago. He certainly did not expect that waiting for him, sitting on a bench in the park of Monte Urpinu, there would be an undercover policewoman from the Flying Squad, who had taken the place of the girl who had been lured by the man a few days earlier. The pedophile conversed with the child to try to meet her and have sex in exchange for money. He also asked her to send him some photos, but she didn't get them. The little girl, in fact, frightened by the obscene contents of the conversations, told everything to her father, who immediately contacted the Cagliari Mobile Squad.
At this point, a policewoman from the Widespread Crime Section took control of the young woman's cell phone and started chatting with the pedophile. The lewd conversations with the undercover policewoman went on for nine days.
During the conversations, the pedophile said he was 42 and asked if his age was somehow a problem. Then he tried again to get photos and proposed meetings in secluded places in the city. Finally, he pointed to a secluded bench in the park of Monte Urpinu.
In the early afternoon of last Saturday, the Mobile agents hid in various parts of the park and near the bench where the undercover policewoman sat, waiting for the man to arrive. When the pedophile arrived, he sat next to the policewoman and immediately tried to hug her, but was immediately immobilized and handcuffed by agents stationed nearby.
From an initial analysis of the cell phone seized from the man, numerous chats on Instagram with other minors emerged. During the search of the pedophile's home, a computer was seized, which will be analyzed by the Scientific Police.
The 42-year-old is now in the Uta prison (CA) awaiting the hearing to validate his arrest scheduled for tomorrow. He will have to answer for the crime of child prostitution and risks six to twelve years in prison.
