The Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Colleferro they arrested, in flagrante delicto, a 31 year old man, resident in Villa Literno (CE), already known to the police, seriously suspected of attempted aggravated theft of a lorry.
The military received the report to 112 from the owner who, during the night, noticed a man tinkering with his van with the intention of removing it, yes promptly went to the site and, after a brief escape, they blocked and arrested the 31-year-old. On this occasion, the tools used to cut the wires to connect to a battery removed from an agricultural tractor owned by the same victim were found and seized.
The timely intervention of the Carabinieri, alerted by the victim, probably disturbed the action of some other accomplice who fled before the arrival of the military.
The 31-year-old, awaiting the immediate trial, scheduled for tomorrow morning, before the Court of Velletri, has been proposed for the imposition of the measure to prevent repatriation with a mandatory expulsion order, with a ban on returning to the municipality of Colleferro for a period considered appropriate.
