(by Francesco Matera) In the major national newspapers today there is the news of the escort of the Prime Minister who intervened to help the premier's companion, Olivia Paladin. The facts occurred on October 26 last when Philip Rome, correspondent of the television program hyenas, urged Paladino to interview her about her father's tax affairs, Caesar Paladin, owner of the prestigious Hotel Plaza From Rome. Cesare would have failed to pay the tourist tax to the Municipality of Rome for several million euros, the accusation is embezzlement. The unfortunate Olivia besieged by the journalist of the Hyenas took refuge in a supermarket under her home. By chance in that area there was also the escort of the prime minister who promptly rushed to help the premier's companion to get away from the supermarket in a hurry. The news was published by the newspaper The La Verità di Maurice Belpietro last October 30 and a complaint to the Rome Public Prosecutor's Office immediately followed by the Brothers of Italy parliamentarian Roberta Angelilli. The investigations for now are directed towards the crime of abuse of office by Conte for having used the stock of the Prime Minister for private reasons.
The complaint presented focuses on the fact that if indeed the Paladino had made use of agents of the Prime Minister's escort, there would have been an improper use of personnel with security functions relating to subjects holding public functions.
In the meantime, the Roman judges summoned the journalist of the Hyenas to get the details of the incident and explain the modalities in which the attempted interview took place, which was then thwarted by the escort agents.
