In today's meeting of the Parliamentary Committee for the Security of the Republic (COPASIR) we worked on the establishment of the calendar of hearings relating to the issue of security in the economic sector and in particular a list of possible subjects to be audited is being prepared.
It was unanimously agreed to begin an in-depth study of the banking-insurance sector in order to verify how much it is possibly interested in possible attacks by third parties that may in some way be harmful to national security and interest.
Furthermore, with regard to international contingent events, the Committee confirms the ongoing relationship with the institutional actors that constantly monitor developments, in addition to the usual dialogue.
With respect to this, in the coming days the Committee will identify a specific direct moment of reporting and synthesis on the aspects relating to national security with the bodies concerned.
