Intensive and inpatient treatments with symptoms are still falling
The Department continues its efforts in coordinating all the components and operating structures of the National Civil Protection Service.
In particular, in the field of health monitoring relating to the spread of Coronavirus in our territory, to date, April 29, the total number of people who have contracted the virus is 203.591, with an increase compared to yesterday of 2.086 new cases. The total number of currently positive is 104.657, with a decrease of 548 patients compared to yesterday.
Of the currently positive 1.795 are undergoing intensive care, with a decrease of 68 patients compared to yesterday.
19.210 people are hospitalized with symptoms, a decrease of 513 patients compared to yesterday.
83.652 people, equal to 80% of the currently positive, are in isolation without symptoms or with mild symptoms.
Compared to yesterday, 323 died and bring the total to 27.682. The overall number of those discharged and recovered rises to 71.252, with an increase of 2.311 people compared to yesterday.
In detail, the currently positive cases are 36.122 in Lombardy, 15.521 in Piedmont, 11.862 in Emilia Romagna, 8.369 in Veneto, 5.663 in Tuscany, 3.576 in Liguria, 4.535 in Lazio, 3.347 in the Marche, 2.782 in Campania, 2.927 in Puglia, 1.463 in the Autonomous Province of Trento, 2.145 in Sicily, 1.227 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 1.976 in Abruzzo, 845 in the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, 261 in Umbria, 761 in Sardinia, 135 in Valle d'Aosta, 753 in Calabria, 194 in Basilicata and 193 in Molise.
