Defense, SIM AM: "Strategic Leadership, gender factor and assistance to the children of the military"

In a note the Italian Military Union - Aeronautics (SIM AM) has traced some of the programmatic lines on which it intends to immediately put the maximum attention.

The next leader of SIM AM Sinibaldo Good highlighted the formative evolution that the Armed Force is experiencing: "The Italian Air Force has for a few years concentrated the training of its personnel on the model of "Strategic Leadership". As stated in the definition Leadership in aeronautics is the "relationship of two-way and reciprocal influence between leaders and their collaborators, at every hierarchical level, aimed at pursuing shared goals and adding value to people".

"A model, that of “Strategic Leadership”, Underlines Buono, that the SIM AM wants to do precisely to support the Armed Force in this new ambitious process of generational growth. Paying attention to staff as a strategic resource is the demonstration that it was necessary to intervene, in a structured and regulated manner, to face future challenges with a more modern organization. The SIM AM wants to actively participate in this cultural revolution to pursue the common goal of improving relations between the Air Force personnel at all levels, for shared purposes".

Another topic on which the SIM AM will focus is the gender factor.

In this regard one of the founders of SIM AM, Valeria Pavoncelli said: "Women in the Air Force have contributed to raising the prestige of the Armed Forces in all contexts, demonstrating undisputed skills in all sectors of employment, including and especially in operational ones. The integration process was gradual in the Armed Forces with excellent overall results. The SIM AM believes that it is necessary to create a permanent team of experts "dedicated" to women who wear the "blue" uniform".

Another issue is assistance to military families, minor children

So the Pavoncelli he said: "It is really difficult for the little ones to metabolize the long-term removal from home of their parent, often of their mother. SIM AM believes that, like the armed forces of greater reference, the English RAF and the US Air Force, it is necessary to create dedicated structures (one-stop shop for example) for psychological assistance and not only for the relatives of military personnel who often he is away from home for long periods because he is employed abroad in operational theaters. There are numerous separations and divorces within the Armed Forces.
Basically, a social problem has been unknowingly generated with devastating effects on future generations. We need to intervene. "

The SIM AM, as can be seen from the first programmatic lines, has many ideas to put in place to improve the quality of life of uniformed citizens and especially of their families.
