In Milan, the Enjoy fleet, Eni's car sharing, also becomes electric with the introduction of the XEV YOYO city cars, which are always operational thanks to battery swapping, the replacement of the battery as an alternative to recharging from columns. The novelty was presented today at Palazzo Marino in the presence of Arianna Censi, Councilor for Mobility of the Municipality of Milan, who spoke together with Giuseppe Ricci, General Manager Energy Evolution of Eni.
In Milan, through the Enjoy app, it is now possible to rent one of the brand new XEV YOYOs in an unmistakable lime green colour. Starting this week, they will gradually join the fleet already available in the city, up to 200 at the end of December. , made up of more than 900 vehicles including cars and cargo. Thanks to the agreement between Eni and XEV, the car manufacturer founded in Turin in 2018, the advantages of electric mobility on urban life are combined with the convenience of free floating car sharing, which allows you to start and end rentals in any place within the coverage area, without predefined pick-up or drop-off points. Furthermore, Enjoy takes care of the refueling: the XEV YOYO city cars allow customers to move around in total freedom because they are always available with a battery charge of more than 30%.

How Enjoy works
To rent Enjoy vehicles, you need to download the app available in the Android, iOS and Huawei stores. After registration, it is possible to search, view and book the vehicles available in the surroundings or in the area of interest, or rent an Enjoy vehicle located along your route by entering the license plate number and the code visible on the windscreen in the app. Once the vehicle is reached and unlocked, the entire rental takes place via the smartphone, until arrival at the destination. At the end of the trip, you can view the summary of the expense incurred for the rental.
All Enjoy vehicle rental rates are available online. For the XEV YOYO city cars, as for the other cars in the fleet, the rate is € 0,29 / min with a fixed cost of € 1,00 for unlocking the vehicle at the start of the rental.
The XEV YOYO city car
XEV YOYO It is an all-electric city car with a maximum speed of 80 km/h and a range of up to 150 km: equipped with a panoramic roof, small and agile, it is the ideal car for moving around historic city centres. As far as refueling is concerned, in addition to the traditional recharging at the plug-in columns, the XEV YOYOs are set up for 'battery swapping' (the replacement of flat batteries with charged batteries which can be done in a few minutes), to which 9 Eni service stations in Milan have already been set up and will become operational in the coming weeks. Enjoy will always take care of refueling with battery swapping.
