Eni. The "sustainable supply chain finance" is underway to support companies committed to sustainable development

Eni, in collaboration with some banking institutes, is launching an innovative supply chain program to offer companies in its supply chain the opportunity to optimize the management of their liquidity, encouraging the improvement of their ESG profile.

Eni confirms its commitment to the energy supply chain, making available to its suppliers - in addition to the "Basket Bond - Sustainable Energy" Program - a new digital model linked to sustainability for the advance of receivables from Eni disbursed by financial partners of the program.

Thanks to FinDynamic technology and the collaboration with Crédit Agricole and UniCredit for financial activities, Eni's suppliers will have a further possibility of simple and fast access to credit, benefiting from favorable economic conditions.

In particular, by accessing the Sustainable Supply Chain Finance Program, suppliers will be able to request advance payment of invoices issued to Eni through the "FinTech" digital platform, made available by FinDynamic, a company specialized in offering innovative solutions for optimizing corporate liquidity.

As bank counterparties (funders) selected by Eni for this programme, Crédit Agricole and UniCredit have started the process to define the operating methods.

The conditions for companies to access the program will be linked to their commitment to the path of sustainable development, thus combining the improvement of the management of financial resources with that of ESG performance. To this end, companies will use the functions of Open-es, a digital platform and alliance between the industrial, financial and associative worlds, dedicated to the growth of supply chains on the dimensions of sustainability.

With this additional programme, Eni strengthens its business support strategy by offering concrete tools for the creation of long-term value and, at the same time, underlining the importance of involving the entire supply chain towards a sustainable growth path.
