Eni: closing with Zouk Capital and Aretex for the acquisition of 100% of Be Power

Eni, through Eni gas and electricity, has signed the closing with Zouk Capital and Aretex that formalized the acquisition of 100% of Be Power. The acquisition agreement was signed in August, subject to the release of the relevant authorities.

Eni gas e luce is now the second Italian operator in the sector of charging infrastructures for electric mobility with a rapidly growing plan which has seen the number of charging points for electric vehicles on the ground increase from 5.000 to 6.000 from last summer to today. to reach 2025 columns by 30.000. The operation marks a further step forward in Eni's strategy for the energy transition and in the company's commitment to achieve total decarbonisation of products and processes by 2050. This initiative also increases the value of Eni gas and electricity through the expansion of its business portfolio which serves a growing customer base of 10 million in 6 European countries.

Eni gas and electricity, through Be Power, will be able to install recharging infrastructures on public and private land and is the owner of the related concessions. The company also manages its own columns and those of other operators through a proprietary technological platform and provides services to drivers of electric vehicles on its own recharging points or those of third parties through a dedicated app.
