The co-founder of WhatsApp, Brian Acton, decided to leave Facebook, three years after the company of Mark Zuckerberg bought the hugely popular instant messaging app for 22 billions of dollars. "After 8 years at WhatsApp - Acton writes on his post - I decided to move and start a new chapter of my life, which will focus on the borders of no profit, technology and communications". Acton leads the Facebook engineering and design team. The other co-founder of WhatsApp, Jan Koum will remain in Facebook. Last week Facebook announced its intention to charge some companies for some uses of WhatsApp, which reached the milestone of one billion users.
