From today 20 March, the State Police will employ some vehicles used by the III Mobile Department of Milan to contribute to the sanitation services of the city streets, already in place by Amsa, the A2A Group company that deals with environmental services in the The municipality of Milan.
In particular, the special “hydrant” vehicle, the BAI ARV 8500S, supplied to the Mobile Departments of the State Police, which has a capacity of 8000 liters of water, will be used. The same will be operational from 15 pm today in via Melchiorre Gioia. The use will continue next week, from Monday to Friday, always in the afternoon, in other streets of Milan indicated by Amsa, which will supply the sanitizer, sodium hypochlorite in aqueous solution.
The initiative is aimed at promoting a public utility service at a time of particular need concerning the Lombard capital and will see the hydrant vehicle operate at reduced pressure and with only the front vents.
The special hydrant vehicle, as a rule, is a vehicle used in public order contexts of particular importance.
