The Colleferro carabinieri tighten controls to prevent crimes in the "Movida"

During the activities, the Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Colleferro identified 198 people, checked 126 vehicles and 11 people under house arrest, carried out 7 searches, seized a car and withdrew 2 driving licenses, raising 5 fines under the Highway Code. - for a total amount of over 2.000 euros - by deducting a total of 25 points from the driving licenses of undisciplined motorists.

As part of the strategic plan of Provincial Command of the Carabinieri of Rome, aimed at preventing the crimes associated with the "Nightlife", in order to ensure greater safety in places of social gathering and to keep high attention, especially on weekends, on the safety of road traffic, the carabinieri of the Compagnia di Colleferro have carried out various checks in the area of ​​their competence.

Under the lens of the Carabinieri, not only were the public places in the Colleferrino center which, especially on weekends, are besieged by hundreds of young people - but also the main roads leading to the places of greatest aggregation, where they sometimes occur serious traffic accidents also due to the altered state of drivers.

The "gazelles" of the emergency response of the Radiomobile Nucleus and those of the Carpineto Romano Station took part in the preventive activity, which allowed a total of three people to be referred to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Velletri and to report to the Prefecture of Rome an 18-year-old for detention of narcotic substances for personal non-therapeutic use.

More specifically, the Carabinieri of the Carpineto Romano station surprised a 52-year-old driving a hearse with a revoked license and without insurance, inspection and circulation documents. The hearse was seized and the man reported.

A 51-year-old from Segni was also denounced who, subjected to house arrest for previous crimes, arbitrarily left his home overnight, without any authorization.

Last night, however, in Colleferro, the Carabinieri of the Aliquota Radiomobile carried out traffic checkpoints along the main streets, denouncing a 27-year-old from Segni who was caught driving a car with a higher alcohol level than allowed. The vehicle was subjected to administrative detention for 30 days while the man's driving license was withdrawn for the consequent period of suspension which will be ordered by prefectural order.

Finally, near Piazza Aldo Moro, an 18-year-old from Segni controlled together with two peers and found in possession of a modest amount of hashish declared for personal use ended up in the crosshairs of the military of the Carpineto Romano Station Command.
