Polfer staff at the Verona Porta Nuova station noticed a girl who had suspicious behavior. The agents approached and after the ritual checks the young girl, a minor, was found in possession of a cellophane wrapper containing pure heroin, for a total weight of over two and a half ounces. She was therefore arrested.
Polfer of Vicenza discovered by chance, during a check in the station, that a 36-year-old father who was prejudiced, instead of being in his own home looking after his only 2-year-old son, unbeknownst to his absent mother, was instead in motion in the railway yard. It was the ability of the policemen who stopped him to guess immediately from the rather nervous and quite annoyed responses to the check in progress, that the child was alone at home, the police officers of the local police station were alerted, who sent a steering wheel that ascertained the truth. The boy was handed over to his sister-in-law and then to his mother, who had arrived in the meantime, and the father was reported for the crime of abandoning a minor.

In the immediate vicinity of the Roma Termini railway station, two foreigners were arrested by staff of the Judicial Police of the Polfer Compartment for Lazio, as they were surprised to sell an amazing amount of substance to another foreign citizen.
In detail, the policemen, alarmed by the suspicion of the two foreigners, followed their movements. The two were approached by a third person, also a foreigner who, took out a sum of money to obtain a small sachet, containing, as ascertained later, an amazing substance. Once the buyer was blocked, the two dealers were immediately arrested.
At the Napoli Centrale station, a Policeman aged forty-four, Italian, was arrested by the Polfer agents of the Compartment for Campania, responsible for a theft against a high-speed train conductor. Taking advantage of the distraction of the railway staff engaged in the management of travelers, the man had entered the compartment reserved for the conductor in order to remove objects and values from luggage. Surprised by the conductor while rummaging through his personal effects, he ran away carrying some objects with him. The Polfer policemen alerted immediately intervened, and tracked down the man, against whom numerous specific criminal and police records have emerged in the meantime.
The agents of the Polfer of Foggia have traced and identified ten boys, nine minors and an adult, authors of damage to a train carriage.
Numerous meetings with students, before the Christmas break, as part of the Train… to be cool project. This time the lessons instead of at school were held at the Perugia Fontivegge railway station and on board the train to Assisi. Polfer operators accompanied young people and explained the correct rules and behaviors to be followed in stations and on trains.
The educational campaign of the Railway Police was born in 2014, in collaboration with the MIUR, to sensitize young people on the dangers of the railway scenario and has achieved great success over the years, involving over 250.000 students throughout Italy.
