Israel bombs Assad's military research center in Syria

The Israeli air force bombed a military research center in Masyaf, Hama province. The military installation had already been hit in September last year and is suspected by the Mossad and Western intelligence of being one of the centers of production of chemical weapons of the regime of al Assad. The planes went to Lebanon, where they were heard and seen by the people present at the sea in front of Beirut.

It is unclear why the center has been targeted again, but in recent weeks Israel has struck several times in Syria. Targets on the border with Iraq, near Al Bukamal, then at Aleppo airport, where there was a base of Iranian military advisors and Shiite militias. The Syrian army, meanwhile, is advancing and has completed the conquest of the province of Quneitra, on the border with the Golan Heights.
