The Minister of Education and Merit Giuseppe Valditara signed the decree which distributes a further 700 million euros of resources from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) among all the accredited ITS Academy Foundations with at least one active training course. The allotment will finance 125 institutes and was defined after a fruitful discussion in the Conference of the Regions.
The funds will be used to increase the educational offer of the ITS Academy Foundations and to strengthen the participation of companies in training processes. In particular, the department will concern the adaptation of 4.0 skills, strategic development sectors in technological areas, incoming and outgoing orientation activities, the granting of scholarships, support for carrying out internships and traineeships also at abroad, the training of teachers.
With a subsequent decree of the Minister, further resources may be distributed among the newly established accredited ITS Academy Foundations which have activated at least one educational path and which have not been included in this division.
"With this huge allocation we will strengthen the ITS Academy Foundations, which will experience important development in the coming years, and we will strengthen the synergy between schools and companies”, declared Minister Valditara. “Unlike in the past, today all training courses must have equal dignity: the actions that the Ministry of Education and Merit is carrying out in the field of technical and professional training go in this precise direction".
