Turkey takes the stage: resolves the Ukrainian wheat dossier and meets Putin in Tehran in the Astana group

The dossier on Ukrainian wheat could be resolved shortly, as confirmed by the Turkish defense minister Hulusi Akar"a matter of days and there will be a new meeting, an opportunity to define the details and review the points on which an agreement has already been reached ”.

It is important that the agreement is reached as soon as possible to avoid the deterioration of the 35 tons of wheat stored in Ukrainian silos. The acceleration thanks to the direct intervention of the United Nations with the Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres that at the meeting in Istanbul, remotely, spoke of a glimmer of hope to alleviate world hunger and countless suffering, announcing that the holidays to fly to Turkey will be reduced at the time of signing.

Turkey will be the military guarantor of the operation while the UN will guarantee that 50% of the unlocked grain will be destined for UN projects of the World Food Program in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The agreement provides that the cargoes should depart from Odessa, to continue along the Romanian territorial waters and then, via the Bosphorus strait, set sail for ports around the world.

The safety of ships loaded with the precious wheat will be guaranteed by a coordination center between navies based in Istanbul.

The Turkish navy has offered to escort the ships throughout their navigation both in internal and international waters, also guaranteeing joint inspections with the forces that the United Nations will deploy, to prevent cargo ships entering the Sea d'Azov, can bring weapons into Ukraine.

Ukraine, for its part, will guarantee a narrow maritime corridor, free from mines, which allows commercial traffic and, at the same time, prevents the Russian Navy from undermining its coasts. Snake Island has returned to Ukrainian control, but the Russian fleet is a few miles from Crimea and its submarines continue to sail within the territorial waters of Kiev.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian wheat fields are on fire. The Russian military is said to be voluntarily destroying crops in the Kherson region while also preventing the extinguishing of the fires in the fields, said SergiyBratchuk, military governor of Odessa.

In addition to the fires that are destroying the wheat fields in Ukraine, there is the question of the grain stolen by the Russians in the Ukrainian silos which is then transported by sea by cargo ships in Moscow to ports around the world. It is important to establish how many tons have been stolen.

War rages in Ukraine as Zelensky cleans up his unfaithful officials

In Ukraine the war does not seem to stop: in Donbass the Russian forces are advancing slowly but gradually. President Volodymyr Zelensky, on the other hand, has initiated a "clean-up" against important members of his entourage accused of treason. In the past two days, the Ukrainian president has removed from their posts the head of the security service, Sbu Ivan Bakanov, and the attorney general, IrynaVenediktova. It would be, as the advisor to the President's Office Andrly Smimov explained, a temporary suspension. But the accusation is very serious: possible responsibility in crimes against national security and a possible link with the Russian special services.

Zelensky, in this regard, he drew a disturbing picture: "To date, 651 criminal cases have been recorded regarding high treason and collaboration activities of employees of prosecutors, preliminary investigation bodies and other law enforcement agencies. In particular, more than 60 employees of the Prosecutor's Office and the Security Service remained in the occupied territory and are working against our country".
