The Air Force lands at ROMICS 2022 with its series of comics dedicated to the world of flight

THEair Force, on the occasion of the anniversary of XNUMXth anniversary of its foundation, has strongly promoted the production of author comics by creating a collection of twelve publications dedicated to exciting aeronautical-themed stories that unfold along the prestigious milestone of its hundred years, with the aim of thrilling the young public but also of all flight enthusiasts.

Le 12 graphic novels which will be published over the next few months, will accompany readers towards the anniversary of Centennial (March 28, 2023). This ambitious project is part of the context of the numerous initiatives that theair Force is organizing in favor of the citizens to spread the aeronautical culture in the area and to bring especially the youngest to the values ​​and traditions that have characterized the history of the Armed Force, intimately connected with the events of the country.

It was with this in mind that the idea of ​​a series of comic stories who, thanks to the skill of emerging authors, screenwriters, designers, colorists, cover artists and coordinated by an art director have managed to create, inspired by real facts and heroic characters, exciting stories both for the general public and for the so-called millennials, thanks to the graphic novel technique.

Of the 12 titles in the series, three volumes have already been published: "El Alamein", "Flying for life","The return of the heroes ". During the exhibition, three other volumes of the collection will be previewed by the authors: "Incursori","Firestorm","fulk".

The positive experience of ROMICS 2022 already experimented by the Air Force to promote the comic series in the last month of April, it will therefore be repeated through the promotion of works already published or in the process of being published, during the next 29th edition of Romics - International Festival of comics, animation, cinema and games.

The Air Force will be pleased to host in the exhibition area set up -pavilion n.7 -, all the numerous visitors and enthusiasts of the sector who will be able to browse the publications and interact with the staff of the stand and the authors of the first three copies of the printed series: "El Alamein"By Marco Trecalli -"Flying for life"By Vincenzo Grienti and Katia Ranalli -"The return of the heroes”By Paolo Nurcis, Fabio Berti and Viviana Di Chiara. Furthermore, advantageous conditions will be reserved for those interested in purchasing individual volumes or for booking the entire series.
