From today I am registrations are open for the third edition of the Anti-Mafia Summer School promoted by the Observatory for Security and Legality of the Lazio Region from 12 to 15 September, from 9.00 to 17.00, at the Rossini Theater in Piazza Santa Chiara in Rome.
The Summer School is aimed at university students, volunteers and third sector operators, public administrators and professional associations.
Participation in the lessons will be reserved for the first 80 registrations that will arrive in the email security.legalità@regione.lazio.it by 7 September.
This edition intertwines the themes related to the 30th anniversary of the Mafia massacres in Capaci and via D'Amelio and the 40th anniversary of the murders of Pio La Torre and General Carlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa with the understanding of the evolution of the mafias and the actuality of the implementation of the anti-mafia legislation starting from the Rognoni-La Torre law.
Knowledge is one of the most powerful weapons to defeat the mafias. Four days of training to study how the criminal powers move, what their business and interests are, how they insinuate themselves in neighborhoods, territories, the economy and public administrations.
At the Summer School, in the various working sessions, confirmed their participation among others, the Public Prosecutor of Rome dr. Francesco Lo You, the Deputy Prosecutors dr. Michele Prestipino and Dr. Ilaria Calò, the Attorney of the Republic of Tivoli dr. Francesco Menditto, the coordinator of the Milan DDA dr. Alessandra Dolci, the Deputy Prosecutor of the Florence Public Prosecutor's Office Luca Tescaroli, the judge Giancarlo DeCataldo, the President of Libera Father Luigi Ciotti, The Commander of the Ros of the Carabinieri General Pasquale Angelosanto, the journalist Attilio Bolzoni, the son of Pio La Torre Franco, the researcher of Wisdom Ilaria Meli and the National Anti-Mafia Prosecutor dr. Giovanni Melillo which will close the Summer School on 15 September together with the historian Enzo Ciconte and to the President of the Observatory for Security and Legality of the Lazio Region Gianpiero Cioffredi.
