This morning, at dawn, the Mantua State Police arrested, in execution of an Ordinance of Custody in Prison ordered by the GIP of the Court of Mantua, the multi-prejudiced N. G, SM and DGV.
NG and SM, respectively, are accused of the crimes of robbery and attempted extortion in conjunction with 3 other subjects, multiple aggravated crimes for having been committed with weapons and by several people gathered and misrepresented, also causing injuries to one of the victims deemed curable in 25 days following the beatings inflicted. N. G and DGV are also accused of the crime of attempted extortion in conjunction with 2 other subjects, aggravated by having been committed by several people gathered and misrepresented.
The criminal conduct - proven thanks to an articulated investigative activity launched following a complaint filed at the Police Headquarters on 5 October, and continued with the coordination of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Mantua - originate from the ambush organized on 2 October by NG - businessman active in the sector of production and trade of pallets - within its own industrial warehouse located in Pegognaga (MN), in order to quickly recover 500.000 euros from two of its former partners (such BA and PL) threatened in this regard on several occasions , and at the same time intimidate another entrepreneur, this MS resident in Fucecchio (FI), together with the accountant of the latter's company. In this circumstance NG made use of SM to hire 3 "professionals" who, misrepresented with balaclavas and armed with guns, broke into a business meeting in Pegognaga at his company - "Blu Imbaltech" - to which the same NG participated together with the aforementioned individuals. On the occasion all those present were made to lie on the ground and threatened with weapons, while BA was heavily beaten, wounded and robbed for 3.900 euros, and another of those present was beaten up and robbed for 700 euros.
On the following 21 October, therefore, NG made use of DGV - car dealer and owner of an automobile practice agency based in Mantua, in via Susani - working alongside him for a few days to support him in the "credit recovery" activity, to go, together with two other subjects in the process of being identified, to Parma at the offices of the company owned by PL, in order to reiterate the extortion attempt of 250.000 euros against him with the threat and violence, failing only because the subject - despite the beatings and threats suffered - had immediately reported the fact to the Mantua Police Headquarters.
The complex investigations that followed made it possible to reconstruct the dynamics of the relationships existing between all the protagonists, involved in different ways in an investigation that still presents some elements to be clarified. The involvement of characters linked to organized crime makes the story particularly serious, with aspects that the Public Prosecutor and the investigators of the Mobile Police Station are now painstakingly reconstructing in detail.
