Last Tuesday, a few hours after Donald Trump's announcement on the move of the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, establishing the latter as the new capital of Israel, the Army of the Jewish State conducted a massive military exercise in the north of the country, not far from the border with Lebanon. It appears to have been the largest exercise conducted by Israel in the past 25 years. For the occasion, the entire Galilee division was mobilized, with the involvement of hundreds of soldiers and about sixty vehicles, without the granting of any notice, with the aim of testing the reactivity of the Armed Forces in the event of an attack or of a sudden outbreak of conflict in the north.
An unequivocal proof of strength that appears as a warning to the Arab populations of neighboring states, as if to say: attention, Israel is ready and is stronger than ever.
