The Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies announces that on Wednesday 13 December, starting from 9.30, the Mountain Agriculture Forum will be held in Rome.
The initiative, in collaboration with the National Rural Network, represents an opportunity for discussion aimed at defining the guidelines for the enhancement of mountain products and the development of the high lands.
The forum is divided into two plenary sessions (9.30-11.00) and (15.00-17-00) and three parallel sessions (11.00-13.30):
1 session - Mountain products and supply chains, diversification and income: opportunities to increase the competitiveness and resilience of mountain systems;
2 session - The mountain as a public good to be enhanced and protected: new strategies of sustainable management and contrast to the phenomena of instability;
3 session - Policies, projects and strategies for mountain agriculture: lessons and prospects for the future.
