Financial education month 2020: financial choices in the time of Covid-19

Applications are open for organizing conferences, webinars, cultural initiatives, information seminars, shows, game days and training on financial education that will take place throughout Italy next October

The third edition of the Financial Education Month organized by the Committee for the planning and coordination of financial education activities - of which the Ministry of Economy and Finance is a member - will focus on financial choices at the time of Covid 19. from 31st to XNUMXst October.

The Committee invites associations, institutions, businesses, universities and research centers, schools, foundations, public administrations and any organization that wants to engage in the field of financial education with quality events to submit its application through the specific online form that will be active starting tomorrow, June 10, on the portal quelcheconta.gov.it.

How are personal and family financial choices related to the Coronavirus emergency evolving? What opportunities does digital transformation of banking and financial services offer families and businesses? These and many other questions will be addressed during the month, with a rich calendar of online and face-to-face events: conferences, webinars, cultural initiatives, information seminars, shows, game and training days for adults, children and children.

The events of the Month of financial education will be free and non-profit and can be organized by a plurality of public and private bodies. In particular, the week of social security education will take place from 26 to 31 October. The initiative, in its first edition, was born with the aim of increasing the social security culture of citizens, starting from the youngest, promoting a better understanding of the functioning of the Italian compulsory and complementary pension system. All initiatives that will aim to increase basic knowledge on insurance, social security and management and programming of personal and family financial resources will be accepted, according to the requirements set by the Guidelines available on the Committee portal.

Membership will allow you to use the official logo of the Month and be present in its promotion on a national scale, so as to guarantee the organizers of the individual initiatives greater visibility and promote the effectiveness of the actions through coordination with the other participants.

Interactive tools to share information on events, get to know who in Italy undertakes on this front, create synergies will be available for all those who join the Month with their own initiatives.
