The procedures for the implementation of two decrees signed by the Minister of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies, Stefano Patuanelli, were completed on schedule, with which extraordinary contributions were granted for the strengthening of the assets of the Organizations of fruit and vegetable producers, of the "Urgent measures in the field of support to businesses and economic operators, labor, health and local services, connected to the emergency from COVID-19.
Approximately € 36 million were paid in favor of 166 fruit and vegetable producer organizations, with the aim of improving their equity and financial situation through an increase in share capital and the creation of indivisible reserves.
The MiPAAF, in a very short period of time, in fact re-proposed and finalized a further provision with which the resources not used during the previous investigation were distributed.
The grant was assigned to a maximum of one per cent of the value of the marketed production, and in any case within the limit of € 1 million for each organization of the Producers, increased to 1,8 million with the second provision.
