An oval sign of a Police Station of Public Security, the tricolor scarf and the blue scarf for officials are the objects that express the identity of the State Police that are now on display at the Museo del Vittoriano enriching the exhibition "Italian language faces and stories of our country ”, inaugurated today in Rome by the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella.

In the "Sacconi Gallery" of the monument to Vittorio Emanuele II known as the Vittoriano complex, the memories of our nation from the unification of Italy to the present day will be on display.

The Minister for Cultural Heritage, Alberto Bonisoli, and the Deputy Chief of Police Vicar Antonio De Iesu were also present at the inauguration.

The exhibition aims to represent the identity and unity of the country through symbolic stories and characters that have contributed to the process of nation building.

The Public Security Authority is the prerogative and distinctive feature of the State Police, and has as its institutional mission the need to guarantee social peace by preventing the factors that threaten it; as well as monitoring compliance with the law, a preliminary condition for the safety of citizens, for their safety and providing assistance in the event of a disaster.

This function is manifested through the tricolor scarf and to achieve these goals he uses the blue scarf in the art of command.
