The surgical devices will serve as an aid to the ward's health staff to ensure better support for pregnant women during childbirth and their babies.
Professor Madi Nayama, general manager of the maternity ward of Issaka Gazobi de Niamey hospital, remarked theimportance of the Italian donation"this gesture of goodwill aims to help this institution carry out its mission of reducing maternal and infant mortality, thus promoting the promotion of reproductive health and the rights of the mother-child couple. "
