Nigeria, ready American armed drones

The US government would be ready to hit terrorists in Niger with Reaper drones. This was reported by the broadcaster "Nbc" (National broadcasting company). The decision would follow the one already taken by France. It would be a matter of flying over armed Reaper drones over the territory, a decision that had been in the air for some time, even before the ambush on 4 October last, in which four US Green Berets were killed. A military investigation is shedding light on the still unclear dynamics of the ambush which, however, is already held to be the responsibility of groups affiliated to the Islamic State. The incident, however, determined an acceleration in the decision of the Trump administration to act more clearly and aggressively against the terrorist groups operating in the north and west of the African continent. The initiative to expand to attacks with drones in Niger indicates, for "Nbc", the opening of a new phase in the US counter-terrorism actions.
