Loss of pressure in the cabin, fear of Finnair flight

Those moments of the Finnair flight en route from Helsinki to Manchester were moments of terror. Due to a pressurization problem, the aircraft, an Airbus A319, had to make an emergency landing in Stockholm.

"The flight, explains Finnair's communications director, Päivyt Tallqvist, had to make a stopover in Stockholm after the captain identified a possible problem with the pressurization of the aircraft." According to the leaked, the plane that at that time was carrying 139 people was in Swedish territory, at a height of 31mila feet (about ten thousand meters). Suddenly the oxygen masks came down and the plane began a rapid emergency descent which within five minutes led to the safety altitude of 10mila feet (3000 meters).

The captain dropped the plane again and headed towards Stockholm, where the landing took place regularly. The emergency landing took place about 40 minutes after take-off. The Swedish capital is located approximately 400km southwest of Helsinki Airport in Vantaa. The passengers have been disembarked, highlights Giovanni D'Agata, president of the “Rights Desk”, and will be transferred to another empty plane that in the meantime Finnair has sent from Helsinki to take the 139 passengers to Manchester. Passengers are expected to arrive in England approximately four hours late.
